Changelog

Each entry below records a change to the published site, with its date and the reason. The dates come from the repo’s own records — the launch report (REPORT.md), the IndexNow submission log (docs/indexnow-sent.json) and the dates the source files were written — so every entry can be checked against one of them.

2026-11-02 — About, methodology, changelog, corrections and contact pages

Added about, methodology, changelog, corrections and contact. Before this, /about returned 404 and the site had no page that explained who runs it, what happens to a photo during generation, or where to report a mistake.

2026-11-02 — Byline and “Last verified” line on every content page

All 18 content pages — six pages in three languages — now carry a byline and a verification line in their own language (“By Shangyi Duan · Last verified 2026-11-02” in English, “Por Shangyi Duan · Verificado por última vez…” in Spanish and “Por Shangyi Duan · Verificado pela última vez…” in Portuguese), name the source behind their numbers, and link to the corrections page. The old line said only “Updated” and gave no way to check or report anything.

2026-11-02 — Six trust links in the footer

The footer now carries About · Methodology · Changelog · Privacy · Terms · Contact on every page, in that order (the Privacy and Terms labels are translated on the Spanish and Portuguese pages). The new trust pages were previously unreachable from anywhere on the site.

2026-11-02 — Sitemap from 23 to 28 URLs

The five new pages were added to sitemap.xml and every lastmod moved to 2026-11-02, because the pages were rebuilt today. The locked URLs in docs/url-lock.txt were not renamed or removed.

2026-10-28 — A real favicon.ico

Added a 16×16 and 32×32 favicon.ico so browsers and search results get an icon instead of a 404. The launch handoff had listed the missing icon as an open item.

2026-10-27 — Launch

First public release: three one-time credit packs live on Dodo Payments ($9.99 for 2 credits, $19.99 for 5, $39.99 for 12), webhook fulfilment at /api/dodo/webhook, the six content pages in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and the privacy and terms pages. Launch-day checks: 75/75 end-to-end checks and Lighthouse mobile 95–100 for performance, 100 for accessibility, SEO and best practices. It went live so owners could make a tribute from one photo, with the packs and webhook already working.

2026-10-27 — IndexNow submission

All 23 URLs were submitted to IndexNow on launch day so the new pages could be discovered without waiting for a crawl.
